Your Wedding Atlas uses cookies and browser storage to support account access, remember preferences, and provide features you use. This article lists examples you may encounter. Which items are stored depends on the pages you visit, the features you use, and your browser settings.
Read our Cookie Policy for how and why we use these technologies and the choices available to you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Essential cookies
These cookies support sign-in, record your cookie choice, or provide secure guest access to an event photo-sharing experience. Authentication cookie names can include a project identifier and numbered parts; photo-sharing cookie names include an event identifier.
An asterisk (*) represents a variable part of a cookie name. Authentication and guest-access cookies may be renewed when you use the feature or removed when your session changes. Cookie storage duration does not guarantee that a sign-in or guest session remains valid. Your browser may also limit how long cookies are retained.
Functional cookies
These cookies remember your language, market, currency, selected workspace, and display preferences. They also help show recent searches and vendors on the homepage and render the appropriate layout for your screen. They are not all required for account access.
If you answer whether a Help Centre article was useful, a cookie remembers your browser so you can change your answer without adding another vote. It is created when you submit article feedback, not simply when you read an article.
Browser storage
Local storage and session storage are different from cookies. Local storage can remain between visits until it is cleared by you, your browser, or the feature. Session storage generally lasts for the browser tab's session. Neither has a universal one-year expiry.
This storage remembers your cookie choice, workspace and layout preferences, recent searches and vendors, and drafts entered in features such as the guest-list demo, wedding-show submission, or partner application. Temporary storage also supports navigation, caches, and map display information. Examples include:
| Name | Provider | Duration |
|---|
ywa_cookie_consent in local storage | Your Wedding Atlas | No fixed automatic expiry in local storage |
ywa_active_workspace_id in local storage | Your Wedding Atlas | No fixed automatic expiry in local storage |
ywa_your_listings_layout in local storage | Your Wedding Atlas | No fixed automatic expiry in local storage |
| Recent searches and recently viewed vendors | Your Wedding Atlas | Varies by feature; local storage may remain until cleared |
| Saved drafts | Your Wedding Atlas | Until cleared or removed by the feature |
| Navigation state, temporary caches, and map display information | Your Wedding Atlas | Varies; session storage generally ends with the tab's session |
Clearing storage may remove preferences or drafts saved only in that browser. It does not, by itself, delete your account or records stored with Your Wedding Atlas.
Third-party technologies
Services used for authentication, payments, maps, analytics, and performance measurement may also use cookies or similar technologies. The tables above describe examples used by our application, not a complete list of every item a third-party service may store.
Google Tag Manager manages analytics and measurement technologies. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights load separately from Google Tag Manager and are not controlled by Google's consent settings. See our Cookie Policy for the choices currently available.
