This Electronic Records and Signature Consent applies when you use Your Wedding Atlas to receive, review, sign, send, access, or store an agreement with another user.
Scope
This consent applies to agreements made available through Your Wedding Atlas between a customer and a vendor.
Your Wedding Atlas is not a party to those agreements. We do not provide legal advice, decide whether an agreement is enforceable, or verify that a signer has the authority to sign for an individual or business.
Consent to electronic records and signatures
By selecting the consent checkbox and signing or sending an agreement through Your Wedding Atlas, you agree to use electronic records and electronic signatures for that agreement.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, your electronic signature may have the same legal effect as a handwritten signature. You also agree to receive agreements, signature records, notices, and related communications electronically through Your Wedding Atlas and the email address associated with your account.
How you sign
Before signing, you will have an opportunity to review the agreement.
By entering your full legal name, selecting the consent checkbox, and selecting the button to sign or send an agreement, you confirm that:
- You intend to sign the version of the agreement presented to you.
- The name you enter is your full legal name.
- You are authorized to sign personally or for the applicable individual or business.
- Your action creates an electronic record of your consent and intent to sign.
Do not sign or send an agreement if you do not understand it, do not agree to it, or are not authorized to do so.
Signature records
We retain an audit record to operate the signing feature, help protect against fraud, and maintain an agreement history. Depending on the action taken and information available, this record may include:
- The agreement file, version, and file fingerprint.
- The name entered by the signer.
- The signer’s Your Wedding Atlas account and role.
- The date and time of the signature.
- The version of this consent accepted by the signer.
- Available security information, such as IP address and browser or device information.
- Agreement events, including upload, delivery, viewing, signing, and withdrawal.
We do not use precise device location as part of the standard signature record.
Access and copies of your records
You can access and download agreements available in your Your Wedding Atlas account. Keep a copy of every agreement for your records.
You need an active email address, internet access, a current web browser, and a device capable of viewing and saving PDF documents. If you cannot access, review, download, or print an agreement, do not proceed with electronic signing.
If you need help accessing an agreement or want to request a paper copy, contact support through the Help Centre. Your Wedding Atlas does not mail paper copies unless we expressly agree to do so.
Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw your consent to use electronic records and signatures for future agreements by contacting support through the Help Centre.
Withdrawal does not affect an agreement, signature, notice, or record completed before we receive and process your request. Withdrawing consent may prevent you from using agreement-signing features on Your Wedding Atlas.
If your email address changes, update it in your account settings so you can continue receiving account-related communications.
Documents requiring other formalities
Some documents, transactions, or jurisdictions may require paper records, witnesses, notarization, independent legal advice, or other formalities. You and the other party are responsible for deciding whether an agreement is appropriate for electronic signing and for obtaining legal advice when needed.
Nothing in this consent changes any rights or requirements that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Privacy
Your use of electronic-signature features is also subject to the Your Wedding Atlas Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
