Your booking is confirmed when its required initial payment succeeds. Depending on the proposal, that's either a deposit or the full booking payment.
When your booking is confirmed
After you accept a proposal
After you accept a proposal, you can make the required initial payment. If an agreement is attached, you'll need to review and sign it as part of accepting.
Acceptance or signing alone doesn't mean the booking's initial payment has succeeded. Review the payment action and deadline in your booking details, then make the required payment.
If your initial payment is processing
A submitted bank payment can remain processing while the bank confirms the result. Verifying a bank account or authorizing a debit isn't itself a successful payment.
Your booking remains pending payment until that initial payment succeeds. Check what to expect while a payment is processing if you're waiting for confirmation.
Check your confirmation
Open Messages, choose the conversation, and click or tap Show booking, or Details on mobile. Check that the booking is confirmed and review its confirmation code and payment information.
If you paid a deposit, a confirmed booking can still have a remaining balance to pay. Keep the remaining-balance deadline in mind; confirmation doesn't mean the full price has been paid.
If the payment result or booking status looks inconsistent, contact support with your confirmation code rather than making a duplicate payment.
