Your Wedding Atlas is a place for couples, vendors, and collaborators to plan weddings, discover services, communicate, and manage bookings. These Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use Policy explain the standards that apply when you use the Platform.
They apply to your account, listings, messages, reviews, bookings, payment requests, agreements, uploaded content, and other activity on Your Wedding Atlas. They supplement our Terms of Service, Content Policy, Reviews Policy, and other applicable policies.
Treat others with respect
Use Your Wedding Atlas respectfully and professionally.
Do not harass, threaten, intimidate, shame, discriminate against, exploit, or otherwise harm another person. This includes conduct based on a person’s race, colour, ancestry, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, family status, marital status, or another characteristic protected by applicable law.
Do not use the Platform to send abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or unwanted communications. Respect another person’s boundaries and do not repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop.
Be honest and act in good faith
Provide accurate information about yourself, your business, your listing, your services, and your intentions.
Do not:
- impersonate another person or business;
- create an account or listing for someone else without authorization;
- misrepresent your identity, location, qualifications, availability, prices, services, licences, awards, reviews, or business affiliation;
- create duplicate accounts or listings to mislead users or avoid enforcement action;
- use false, deceptive, or misleading information to obtain a booking, payment, refund, review, or other benefit; or
- attempt to manipulate search results, favourites, reviews, ratings, or other Platform signals.
Vendors are responsible for keeping their Listings, service details, pricing, availability, cancellation policy, and other business information current and accurate.
Communicate responsibly
Messages and enquiries are intended to help couples and Vendors discuss wedding services and bookings.
Do not use messages, attachments, or other communication features to send spam, malware, phishing attempts, deceptive links, unsolicited commercial communications, or unlawful content.
Do not ask another user for passwords, payment-card details, bank-account information, government identification, or other sensitive financial credentials through messages.
If you send an enquiry or respond to one, communicate in good faith. Do not use the Platform to pressure another user, make misleading claims, or create a false sense of urgency.
Use booking and payment features properly
Vendors and customers are responsible for reviewing booking details, payment amounts, currency, applicable fees, due dates, cancellation information, and any optional Booking Agreement before using a payment or signature feature.
Do not:
- create or send a misleading payment request;
- request payment for services, fees, or charges that were not clearly disclosed;
- use another person’s payment method without authorization;
- make a fraudulent payment, refund, chargeback, or payment dispute;
- submit false, incomplete, or misleading information to a payment provider;
- ask or pressure a customer to pay outside Your Wedding Atlas in order to bypass a payment request or booking payment process created through the Platform; or
- misuse payout-account, refund, agreement, or electronic-signature features.
A Vendor remains responsible for its services and its direct arrangement with the customer. Your Wedding Atlas does not provide the wedding service, guarantee a Vendor’s performance, or decide whether either party has fulfilled a separate Booking Agreement.
Respect privacy and personal information
Use another person’s personal information only as reasonably necessary to use the Platform, respond to an enquiry, administer a booking, provide services, or comply with applicable law.
Do not sell, disclose, misuse, or add another person’s information to marketing communications unless you have a lawful basis to do so.
If you invite someone to a workspace, add information to a guest list, upload photos, or share content about another person, you are responsible for having the authority or permission to do so.
Follow our content and review rules
All content on Your Wedding Atlas must comply with our Content Policy. This includes Listing content, photos, videos, messages, attachments, reviews, agreements, and feedback.
Reviews must also comply with our Reviews Policy. Do not submit, request, offer, pressure, threaten, or exchange anything of value for a review that is false, misleading, retaliatory, or intended to manipulate another person’s rating.
Do not misuse the Platform
Do not access, collect, copy, scrape, crawl, index, or use Platform content or data through automated means without our written permission.
Do not interfere with, disrupt, damage, overload, or impair the Platform or another person’s access to it. Do not bypass security, authentication, access controls, rate limits, or other technical protections.
Do not use Your Wedding Atlas for unlawful activity or for a purpose outside the intended wedding-planning and vendor-marketplace experience.
Report a concern
If you believe that a Listing, message, review, user, or other content violates these Guidelines, our policies, applicable law, or another person’s rights, report it through the available Platform tools or contact support.
If there is an immediate risk of harm, contact local emergency services or the appropriate authorities first.
How we may respond
We may investigate reports and take action where appropriate. Depending on the circumstances, we may remove content, limit a feature, pause a Listing, restrict booking or payment tools, suspend an account, or terminate access to the Platform.
We may act without prior notice when reasonably necessary to address legal, safety, security, fraud, payment-provider, or user-protection concerns. We are not required to act on every report, disclose the outcome of an investigation, or resolve a dispute between a Vendor and customer.
