Keeping bookings and payments on Your Wedding Atlas

If a couple first contacts a vendor through Your Wedding Atlas and they decide to book, the booking and its required payments must stay on Your Wedding Atlas. This applies to Free and Pro listings.

This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. It applies prospectively when the updated Terms take effect, not retroactively to an existing off-platform arrangement.

Keep the booking and payments together

Use a booking proposal and checkout in Your Wedding Atlas for services agreed from an inquiry, message, or booking request received here. Deposits, remaining balances, full payments, and applicable taxes and mandatory charges for that booking must be paid through the booking.

Sending an inquiry doesn't require either party to book.

Moving a booking elsewhere

For a booking covered by this policy, you must not:

  • Send or request a separate invoice, payment link, payment-app request, bank transfer, or cash payment.
  • Offer or ask for a lower price in exchange for booking or paying elsewhere.
  • Cancel, split, or recreate the booking outside Your Wedding Atlas to avoid platform fees.
  • Use a separate agreement to require payments outside the booking.

A Stripe, bank, or payment-provider page opened from our checkout is part of your payment flow, not an outside payment request.

Clients you find independently

You can continue working with clients you already had or found independently. Viewing your listing doesn't, by itself, make someone a client introduced by Your Wedding Atlas.

If you choose to arrange an independently sourced client's booking through a proposal here, keep its required payments here too. This isn't an exclusivity requirement for unrelated future services.

Consultations and your existing tools

Phone calls, video meetings, consultations, and site visits are allowed. You can also keep your CRM and other tools for your own records. These activities must not be used to move a covered booking or its payments elsewhere.

If a payment or booking can't be supported through the available tools, contact us before making another arrangement. Exceptions require our written authorization unless applicable law requires otherwise.

If this policy isn't followed

We may review reported violations and take action under our Terms, including warnings, listing restrictions, or account suspension or removal. This policy doesn't create an automatic penalty or authorize an undisclosed charge.

If you're asked to pay elsewhere, see what to do about an outside payment request.
