When your booking payments are due

Your proposal and booking details show the amounts and dates that apply to your booking. Check those dates before accepting, especially if you're booking close to the service date.

Your initial payment

For new proposals, your initial payment is due within 7 days of accepting the proposal, or before the start of the booking date if sooner. It may be a deposit or one full payment, depending on the schedule shown.

The proposal's response deadline is separate from the payment deadline. Accepting a proposal starts the initial-payment window; it doesn't mean the payment has been made or the booking is confirmed.

Your remaining balance

For new split-payment proposals, the remaining balance is due 14 days before the booking date. Paying the deposit doesn't move that date.

New proposals for bookings 30 days away or less require a single full payment rather than a deposit and remaining balance. Older proposals may retain a different schedule. Always use the dates saved with your booking.

How to check and make your payments

Open Messages, choose the conversation, and click or tap Show booking, or Details on mobile. Review the payment information and use the payment action shown when a payment is available.

Complete each payment through the checkout flow. Don't assume that accepting the proposal or saving a card schedules an automatic charge for the remaining balance. Payment reminders don't replace the deadlines in your booking details.

If you need more time

Message the vendor as soon as possible, but don't assume a conversation changes the saved payment deadline. Read what happens if your payment is overdue before letting it pass.

If you've already submitted a bank payment, check its status. A payment that's processing is handled differently from an unpaid or failed payment.
