Set a price for a booking proposal

Set the proposal price after agreeing on the services with the client. Enter the service subtotal before tax, then review the complete booking breakdown before sending.

Enter the agreed price

  1. Open the client conversation in Messages.
  2. Click or tap Show booking, or Details on mobile, then the card inviting the client to book. If you're responding to their Request to book, Accept also opens the proposal.
  3. Check the listing and booking date, and add an agreement if needed.
  4. Enter the agreed service Subtotal in the pricing section.
  5. If Deposit is shown, enter the amount you want to collect first, up to 50% of the subtotal.
  6. Review the payment dates, Customer pays before taxes, and You could earn breakdowns.
  7. Click or tap Send booking request, or Send booking offer when responding to a client's booking request.

Payment setup must be complete. If the proposal cannot be sent, see proposal setup checks.

Review the booking total

The proposal form shows your service subtotal before tax and estimated earnings after applicable fees. The final tax calculation uses your tax settings and the client's billing details. The client reviews that total before accepting. Don't add the same tax to the subtotal as well. See booking taxes and platform fees.

Choose the payment amount

For a booking more than 30 days away, the default is a 25% deposit. You can change it to another positive amount up to 50% of the subtotal. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the booking date.

For a booking 30 days away or less, one full payment is required and the deposit field isn't shown. Check the payment deadlines before sending. Accept on a client's request opens the proposal; it does not confirm a booking.
