When you create a payment request, you’ll see the total price, applicable fees, and the amount you’ll earn before you send it. You can choose whether to include the applicable fees in the customer’s total or absorb them in the price you enter.
Platform fee
Your Wedding Atlas charges a 6.5% platform fee on booking payments.
Stripe processing costs are paid by Your Wedding Atlas from the platform fee. They are not shown as a separate deduction from your earnings.
Foreign-currency settlement fee
A 2% foreign-currency settlement fee applies when the booking payment currency differs from the settlement currency on your Stripe payout account.
For example, if you request payment in one currency but Stripe sends your payout in another, the foreign-currency settlement fee applies. This helps cover the additional cost of settling the payment in your payout currency.
The payment request shows this fee separately before you send it.
Choose how fees are handled
When you create a payment request, use Include fees to choose how the applicable fees are handled.
If Include fees is on, the customer’s total is adjusted so you receive the amount shown as You earn.
If Include fees is off, the customer pays the total price you entered and the applicable platform fee and foreign-currency settlement fee are deducted from that amount.
Review the payment request carefully before sending it. You’ll see:
- Total price: the amount the customer will pay
- Platform fee: the Your Wedding Atlas fee
- Foreign-currency settlement fee: shown only when it applies
- You earn: the amount sent to your Stripe payout account before any separate payout timing considerations
Your settlement currency
Your settlement currency comes from your Stripe payout account. Available payout methods and currencies depend on your country or region and Stripe’s requirements.
The fee terms for a booking payment request are set when you send it. Changes you make later will not change an existing request.
