If your payment is processing

If your payment is processing, it has been submitted but hasn't been confirmed as successful yet. Bank payments can take several business days to complete, even after you've verified the account or authorized the payment.

Check the payment status

Go to Messages, open the conversation, and click or tap Show booking, or Details on mobile. The booking details show the current payment state.

You can close the payment window while a bank payment is processing. Your Wedding Atlas updates the booking when the result is received. Bank authorization, an account verification, or a bank's pending entry isn't the same as a completed booking payment.

How processing affects your booking

An initial payment must succeed before your booking is confirmed. If your deposit or full initial payment is processing, confirmation is still pending.

While a bank payment is processing, we wait for its result before automatically cancelling the booking for nonpayment. If it's your remaining balance, this doesn't mean the balance has been paid yet. The payment can still fail, and the booking's other cancellation terms still apply.

If verification is required

If you see Verify bank account, select it and complete the secure Stripe instructions. A verification request needs your action; a payment that only says it's processing may not.

Don't send bank sign-in details or verification amounts to the vendor or support.

If the payment takes longer or fails

If Your Wedding Atlas says it's checking your payment, return to the booking to check for updates before submitting another payment. Contact support if the status remains unclear.

If a bank payment fails, follow the replacement-payment action and deadline shown in the booking. A recovery window may apply, but it doesn't extend beyond the start of the booking date. Read what to do about an overdue payment if a deadline is approaching.
