Florist
I design wedding flowers in Florence and across Tuscany. My workshop has been here since 1995. I work with couples directly, and with wedding planners and agencies. More of my work: bottegadeifiori.it I don't work from a catalogue. When we start from scratch, I listen first: your story, the place you're marrying in, the atmosphere you want. Then I design the flowers, the colours and the empty space, so your guests feel what you want them to feel. A villa or a castle is never just a backdrop for me. It's part of the project. Already have a concept, a moodboard or a planner running the day? That works too. I can develop your idea with you or build the design that's already there, and I coordinate with whoever directs the event. I take care of the floral decor for ceremonies, receptions, dinners and parties: bouquets, arches and installations, tables, centrepieces, cake flowers. Where the project calls for it, I also direct the flowers on the day, moment by moment. I choose seasonal flowers, sourced locally whenever I can. Every project is bespoke, so I don't have a price list. Tell me your date, your venue and what you have in mind, and we'll talk. I work in Tuscany, Umbria and central Italy, and I travel elsewhere when the project calls for it. My workshop in Florence receives visitors by appointment only.

Planning a wedding in Italy?

  • How far in advance should I book wedding vendors in Italy?

Most couples book key vendors — such as venues, photographers, and planners — 9 to 18 months before their wedding date. Popular seasons and weekend dates can fill quickly, so early inquiries give you more flexibility.
  • How much does a wedding in Italy typically cost?

Wedding costs vary based on guest count, venue type, and vendor selection. Comparing local vendors and services can help you estimate a realistic budget before booking.
  • How do I choose the right wedding venue?

Start with your guest count and budget. Then consider the atmosphere you want — indoor or outdoor, modern or historic, waterfront or garden. Filtering by category makes it easier to narrow your options.
  • Can I plan a destination wedding in Italy?

Yes. Many couples plan from out of town and work with local vendors who understand the area, venues, and seasonal considerations.
  • How do I contact wedding vendors?

Each vendor listing includes a button to send a direct message. Sharing your wedding date and guest count helps vendors respond more quickly.
