Describe accessibility information for your venue or services

Specific accessibility information helps clients decide whether your venue or services meet their needs. Describe the features you know, and be clear about anything you have not checked.

Describe practical details

For a venue, useful details might include step-free routes, entrances, lifts, accessible toilets, surface types, and the distances between event spaces. For other services, describe relevant communication options, setup needs, or ways the service can be adapted.

Use clear facts rather than a general promise that everything is accessible. Do not claim a certification or feature you cannot substantiate.

Add the information to your listing

Add useful information to your listing description and, for a venue, the relevant event-space descriptions. Describe the features themselves rather than labelling the whole service as accessible or certified.

Invite clients to discuss their requirements before booking. If you are unsure whether a specific arrangement will work, check it before agreeing rather than leaving the client to discover a limitation on the day.
