If you can’t send a booking proposal

If you can't send a proposal, open the conversation and follow the action shown in the booking details. You may need to respond to a booking request, finish payment setup, or complete your tax information first.

Check the conversation

Go to Messages, open the conversation, then click or tap Show booking, or Details on mobile. Open the card inviting the client to book. A separate Request to book from the client is not required for a direct proposal.

If the client has sent a pending booking request, Accept opens the proposal so you can review and send it. You can't send another proposal while one is awaiting a response or create a second booking in a conversation that already has one. An expired inquiry also needs to be resolved before it can receive a proposal. Follow the actions shown in the conversation rather than treating Accept as a confirmed booking.

Complete payout setup

If you're prompted to set up payouts, follow the link and complete the secure Stripe steps. Your account must be eligible to accept payments and linked to the listing used for the proposal.

If setup is already underway, check for missing information or a review. See how to check whether you're ready to accept booking payments.

Complete your tax information

If you're prompted to add tax information, finish your tax setup. If you aren't registered to collect tax, confirm that status instead.

Return to the conversation after completing setup. Review the proposal's date, price, payment schedule, and any agreement before sending it. If an error remains, contact support with the conversation link and the message shown, without including banking or tax identification details.
