Cordes Nomades is a gypsy jazz band based near Montpellier, bringing the warm, festive swing of Django Reinhardt to weddings across the South of France for over 8 years. Our music is 100% live. Our repertoire is rooted in gypsy jazz, in the tradition of Django Reinhardt, and also includes jazz standards, bossa nova, French chanson and pop songs, all played in a gypsy jazz style. It sets a joyful, elegant and authentic mood for your ceremony, cocktail hour or dinner. Choose the line-up that fits your day: - Duo: two guitars, intimate and refined - Trio: two guitars and double bass, the traditional gypsy jazz sound - Quartet with saxophone: a fuller, jazzier sound with a saxophonist - Quartet with vocalist: featuring singer Lucy Bely, with vocals and scat We can play up to 3 hours of music and are happy to tailor the repertoire to your tastes, including preparing a special song for your entrance or first dance. We bring our own sound system, which you are welcome to use for speeches or your own playlist. Professional, discreet and elegantly dressed, we adapt easily to weather changes or a shifting timeline. Based in Montpellier, we travel throughout Occitanie, Provence and all of France. We reply to every message within the day.
