If a booking request expires

A booking request expires if you don't send a proposal or decline before its deadline. It doesn't create a booking or take a payment, and you can continue the conversation with the couple.

Check that the request has expired

Go to Messages and open the conversation. The request will show Booking request expired rather than the actions for a pending request.

A request can expire while you're preparing a proposal. Opening it with Accept doesn't stop the countdown; the offer needs to be sent before the deadline.

If you'd still like to take the booking

  1. Message the couple to check whether they're still interested and confirm the date.
  2. Open Show booking, or Details on mobile.
  3. If the conversation is still open and the date is in the future, choose the card inviting the client to book.
  4. Review the proposal and click or tap Send booking request.

This sends a new proposal; it doesn't restore the expired request. The couple can also send another booking request where Request to book is available.

If the inquiry itself has expired or the conversation already has a booking, a new proposal may not be available. Follow the action shown in the conversation, or see if you can't send a booking proposal.

If you've already sent a proposal

A booking request from a couple and a proposal you send are separate steps. If you've already sent an offer, check its status and deadline rather than responding to the old request again.
