How taxes are added to booking prices

For current proposals, you enter the service price before tax. Your Wedding Atlas uses your saved tax setup and the client's billing details to calculate applicable taxes separately.

Before preparing a proposal

Complete Tax settings, including confirming if you are not registered to collect tax. Only add registrations your business actually holds. Adding a number does not register you with a tax authority.

Review the client's total

The client's billing information can be needed before the final tax and total are available. Review the final breakdown rather than promising that the initial subtotal is the entire amount the client will pay.

Do not manually include the same calculated tax in the service subtotal as well. A result with no tax does not, by itself, establish that your business has no tax obligations.

See tax setup, your tax responsibilities, and the client's booking-tax breakdown.
