How-to

Create a custom link for your listing

Create a short, shareable link for your Listing that makes it easy for couples to find your business, enquire, and book with you.

A custom link gives your Vendor Listing a short, shareable address, such as yourweddingatlas.com/v/your-business-name. You can use it in social profiles, emails, your website, and other marketing materials.

  1. Go to Listings and open the Listing Editor for the Listing you want to update.
  2. Select Details.
  3. Select Custom link.
  4. Enter the part of the link that comes after yourweddingatlas.com/v/.
  5. Wait for Your Wedding Atlas to confirm that the link is available.
  6. Select Save.
  7. Use Copy link to copy your saved custom link.

Your Listing must be published before the custom link will work for the public.

Choose a link that is clear, easy to remember, and closely matches your business name.

Your custom link must:

  • be unique;
  • contain at least 3 characters;
  • use letters, numbers, and hyphens only; and
  • not use a reserved Your Wedding Atlas word or address.

Spaces are changed to hyphens, and letters are saved in lowercase. For example, Peachwood Events becomes peachwood-events.

You can update your custom link from the same Custom link page in the Listing Editor.

When you save a new link, the previous custom link no longer leads to your Listing. Update any website links, social profiles, email signatures, advertisements, or printed materials that use the old address.

A link may be unavailable because another Vendor already uses it or because it is reserved for a Your Wedding Atlas page or feature.

Try a variation that still clearly represents your business, such as adding your city, region, or wedding service category.
