Videographer
Ten years from now, you won't remember the centrepieces. You'll remember how your partner's voice shook during the vows, your dad's toast, and the way the light came through the doors at seven o'clock. That's what I film. I make documentary wedding films for couples in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Toronto and Muskoka: bright and airy, cinematic, timeless, and edited to feel like a memory rather than a highlight reel. Nothing is staged. I don't direct, pose or pull you away from your guests. I watch, and I film what's true, so the film you reach for every anniversary looks and sounds like the day you lived. Every wedding is shot on cinema cameras with drone coverage, and for couples who want it I weave in real Kodak Super 8, hand-developed and scanned, plus a camcorder layer for that home-video warmth. Your ceremony and speeches are delivered in full with mastered audio, alongside the wedding film, a trailer and a vertical cut for sharing. Based in Niagara-on-the-Lake and filming since 2019. WeddingWin 2026 Diamond Award. Junebug Weddings vendor. Preferred vendor at Vintage Hotels, White Oaks, Harding Waterfront Estate and 124Q. I take a limited number of weddings each season so every film gets the time it deserves. Collections from $3,000 CAD. Tell me about your day at jacobpaura.com.

Planning a wedding in Canada?

  • How far in advance should I book wedding vendors in Canada?

Most couples book key vendors — such as venues, photographers, and planners — 9 to 18 months before their wedding date. Popular seasons and weekend dates can fill quickly, so early inquiries give you more flexibility.
  • How much does a wedding in Canada typically cost?

Wedding costs vary based on guest count, venue type, and vendor selection. Comparing local vendors and services can help you estimate a realistic budget before booking.
  • How do I choose the right wedding venue?

Start with your guest count and budget. Then consider the atmosphere you want — indoor or outdoor, modern or historic, waterfront or garden. Filtering by category makes it easier to narrow your options.
  • Can I plan a destination wedding in Canada?

Yes. Many couples plan from out of town and work with local vendors who understand the area, venues, and seasonal considerations.
  • How do I contact wedding vendors?

Each vendor listing includes a button to send a direct message. Sharing your wedding date and guest count helps vendors respond more quickly.
